Description
Stunning deep Flow Blue transfer-ware platter from Wedgwood ca. 1891-1905. The Etruria + England dates to after the McKinley Tariff Act of 1891, but this is a definite pre WW I potting. The original Chinese pattern was potted by John Ridgway ca. 1835, and many variants followed. This is an exceptionally fine platter with splendid colors. Measures 12.75x10.25. Wt 2 pds.
