Description
Pre-Columbian, Peru (North Coast), Moche Culture, ca. 100 to 700 CE. This is a stirrup vessel with a short spout and a thin handle in the form of a seated man with a geometrically-patterned outfit, large dangling earrings, and hands resting on his knees. His face appears stern, with wide, staring eyes and a prominent nose. Size: 6" L x 5" W x 7.75" H (15.2 cm x 12.7 cm x 19.7 cm)
