Six unusual objects as follows: Point, Ear Spool (rare), Serrated and grooved Tooth, Flint eccentric point, unknown object. Largest measures 6 inches long, smallest 1.25 x .75 inch. George Nichols collection.
Nichols' notes regarding site 45 read as follows: "Miller site-Lamine River. True Hopewell village at confluence of Lamine R and Mo. R."
Pictured in "The Archaeology of Missouri, II," by Carl H. Chapman, Columbia, University of Missouri Press, 1980, p. 44, and identified as "Wakenda phase artifacts (George Nichols Collection, et al)."
