Porcelain / Ceramic Covered Urn Having a combination of transfer and extensive hand painting. Depicting an English Hunting Scene taking place probably somewhere in China with Mountains in background and having Foo dog motifs. It measures approximately 28 1/2 inches high by about 13 inches in diameter. It does not have an artist's signature or factory mark. As for condition The piece has been exposed to cigarette and cigar smoke for about 30 years. It had been used as decoration in a busy restaurant for many years. It will need a significant cleaning. There is also a 1 inche by 1 inch square spot broken off the piece just under the lid. Only minor glaze crackle, no repairs or cracks.
