6th-14th century AD. A mixed group of bronze buckles comprising: two with triangular plaque, three recesses; three with dished kidney-shaped bow; one with cruciform plaque; one with double loop; eight with tongue-shaped plaque; one annular with knops; one with triangular plaque; one with D-shaped loop; one with Y-shaped loop; sixteen with slot to the rear plaque. 290 grams total, 25-52mm (1 - 2"). From a German collection; acquired on the German art market before 1990. [35, No Reserve]
