AN EDWARD VII STERLING SILVER MOUNTED CALAMANDER WOOD TEA CADDY, MARKS FOR SILVERSMITH MIDDLETON CHAPMAN, SON & CO. LTD., LONDON, 1905, the rectangular hinged lid with sterling silver corner mounts enclosing silversmith's initials, "M.C," within an oval cartouche, followed by the date letter for 1905, the lion passant and the leopard's head, opening to a lidded single compartment with remnants of old zinc paper lining, includes one key. Height: 5 3/4" Width: 5 7/8" Depth: 5 5/8"
