A MISCELLANEOUS GROUP OF FIVE TEA CADDIES AND BOXES, 19TH CENTURY AND LATER, comprising one of richly burl wood and of bulbous form with vertically reeded sides, surmounted by a conforming domed lid centering a similarly carved horn finial, possibly Indian, modern, height: 5 3/4"; one of carved burl wood with an octagonal hinged lid above conforming sides, possibly Indian, modern, height: 4"; an octagonal reeded pewter canister with a flat circular lid, height: 7"; a simple carved walnut rectangular tea caddy with a rectangular hinged lid centering a conforming brass handle and opening to an interior fitted with three lidded canisters, height: 5 5/8", width: 9 3/4", depth: 4 1/8"; a prisoner of war parquetry inlaid wood box, with a hinged lid centering a various woods inlaid star within shaped geometric panels, above conforming sides enclosing lozenge details, height: 4", width: 11", depth: 8 1/4"
