Group of Five George III Various Woods and Marquetry Tea Caddies
Last quarter 18th century
Comprising a George III inlaid satinwood tea caddy, the underside of lid with label inscribed 'Mrs. Samuel Goldwyn / 1200 Laurel Lane / Beverly Hills Cali / from Alfred Bullard No. 4'; a George III Tunbridge ware tea caddy; a George III burr elm tea cady; and two George III inlaid mahogany tea caddies. Height of first 5 inches (12.8 cm), width 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), depth 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm); Together with a George III Inlaid Mahogany Cube Work Box, last quarter 18th century. The hinged square lid opening above a pair of hinged compartmentalized sides with drawers and stepped drawers. Height 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), width 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), depth 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm).
