Hand Blown Amberina Glass serving pitcher, perhaps for punch or lemonade. Very fine quality, all hand blown. Separately applied handle and shaped spout. Unshaven pontil and uneven base Two-Toned Amberina Glassware was made from 1883 to circa 1900 and patented by noted Glassmaker Joseph Locke of the New England Glass Company. It shades from a Red color to Amber, usually top to bottom because Red glass was much easier to reheat at the top of a piece than the bottomAcquired in Boston, Massachusetts.
