A grouping of 4 antique metalware pieces. American. Acquired in Lancaster County, rural Pennsylvania. First is a brass butcher's strainer/tasting ladle. Rat tail type handle tip. 18th/19th century. Measurements: 18.5" long, 5.3" x 5.1" the bowl. Weighs about 12 oz. Next is a curved-form early pair of shoemaker's pliers. Hammered wrought iron. Measurements: 8" x 1.5" x 0.6". Last is a pair of cast iron equestrian spurs. Disk-type spurs with a disk rowel. Original strap clasps on sides. Late 1800's/early 1900's.
