Late 19th century, 176 x 123 cm, North East China

A circular medallion placed at the centre of the dark blue field is surrounded by six flowering twigs; each of the spandrels contains a table bearing a bowl of flowers and a vase. The white-ground main border is decorated with an elongated floral vine. – Slightly damaged sides, corroded brown, remnants of a glued base fabric on the reverse. Good overall condition.
