A nice Etruscan bucchero kyathos, c. 650 – 600 BC, the deep cup with attractive vertical ribbing and the rim nearly vertical, the handle is tall and loop with large spike at the summit, a detailed human face inside the rim where the handle joins the bowl. A very handsome example with nicely burnished surfaces. H: 5 ¾ in (14.6 cm). Light surface deposits. Ex collection of Alberto Altieri, Illinois.
