Description
This item is part of a large estate of an aristocratic family from Eastern Europe. In late 1940’s, the entire estate was confiscated by the communist government and for over 60 years was displayed in a local museum until recently when the entire collection was returned to the family. Some items are in US and others are still in Europe. The collection is made of 19th Century art, antique furniture, tapestries and more. Some items are still in Eastern Europe but can be shipped anywhere. Also, to protect the privacy of the current owners, we will not divulge their name during the auction. However, each item sold in auctions will be accompanied by a letter from the owner authenticating each piece. For auction, 6 piece lot of antique Moser gilded enameled glass consisting of 4 ruby red 4" tall drinking glasses together with a 6" tall decanter with stopper and a smaller glass with a written dedication on the occasion of a "Comemmoration Parade". Late 1800’s Austro-Hungarian provenance.
Condition: one very small nicks on edge of 2 glasses (see pictures) glasses, gilding and enameling in very good condition, these items were kept on display inside a closed cabinet. For auction,
3 piece lot antique late 1800’s early 1900’s Austro – Hungarian Moser gilded deep Amethyst cut glass. This lot consists of a 8" lidded Amethyst molded glass jar, a matching 6" pitcher and a 4.75" bowl.
Condition is beautiful these were stored in a closed display cabinet.
