An Etruscan Genucilia group footed plate, likely Faliscan, c. 300 BC, depicting 5 waves around the central medallion and an interesting rosette pattern in the center of the medallion. A rather rare pattern for this family of plates, differing from the more common 'Lady of Fashion' and 'geomeric star' motifs. H: 1 ¾ in (4.4cm), D: 5 2/5 in (13.7cm). Ex collection of Alberto Altieri, Illinois.
