Description
Pre-Columbian, Costa Rica, ca. 500 to 1500 CE. A cute, deep earthy red tripod bowl with applied details to give it the form of a bird. Rounded strips of pottery form feathers, eyes, and a hooked beak. On the opposite side from the bird's face is a very small handle. Size: 5.1" W x 4.1" H (13 cm x 10.4 cm)
