This is the first printing of Robert Crumb's Plunge into the Depths of Despair comic, complete and in very good condition, with no tears, stains, or notable creases. This has the 50 cent price on the cover, and no copyright notice. The staple binding is solid, with no loose or missing pages. There is no fade to the art or lettering. There are no stamps or other attachments, nor is there any writing.
Robert Crumb (born 1943) is an American cartoonist and musician whose work displays a nostalgia for American folk culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and satire of contemporary American culture. He contributed to the "underground comix" movement in the 1960s, focusing on small press or self-published comic books which were often satirical in nature.
