Description
Anton Michelsen (Danish, 1809-1877). A sterling silver footed bowl having two C-scroll molded handles and globular form body resting on four scrolled legs headed with leafy foliage. The underside stamped with the "three tower mark" with number "16" below it. Impressed "Michelsen" and Assay master mark for Peter R. Hinnerup (1840-1863). Approximate height 3.5", width 7.25" (handle to handle), depth 5.12". Approximate weight 11.28 troy ounces. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Mr. Eskild Bondesen of Copenhagen, Denmark.
