Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Chinesco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A bichrome pottery lidded box, the exterior surface covered with stylized geometric motifs - diamond, zigzag, and other wonderful patterns - in negative resist red on white ground. The lid fits the box rather nicely! Perfect for storing anything precious to you! Size: 4.25" L x 3.5" W x 2.875" H (10.8 cm x 8.9 cm x 7.3 cm)
