Description
Lot of 15 large vintage photographs taken during the Richard Nixon administration at the White House. All photographs are color except the tank image. Most photos are large format (see dimensions below.) A variety of image subjects include: Apollo 11 and space exploration, Nixon's Irish Setter "King Tamahoe", the White House Christmas Tree and first Lady Pat Nixon, President Nixon and his family at the White House, Nixon shaking hands with a soldier in a US Army tank called the Magical Mystery Tour, an ABC California media vehicle fire, -- even a black R&B band performing at the White House, possibly Motown 's Temptations. Three of the images are stamped on the back reading: Official Photograph The White House Washington. There are 12 large, 1 medium and 2 small photographs.
