DESCRIPTION: Set of two vintage German porcelain beer steins. The taller stein features embossed, handpainted, renderings of a soldier and a damsel in a forest lined with tall trees, birds perched along fallen logs,and a castle scene odd in the distance. Finished with a tree trunk motif handle and a pewter lid embellished with embossed floral motifs. Marked with impressed "Germany" on the bottom. The smaller stein is embellished with banners of German municipalities, along with the national German emblem of an eagle. Finished with gilded accents and a silver toned metal lid. Marked under lid: "Made in Germany 95% Zinn Stein".
