Description

The cover topped by a model of Sybil, the seated female figure also known as the widow of Zerepath, surrounded by gold tracery rampant fu dog silhouettes on the blue green mottled glaze, gold tracery Dragon patterns on green to blue mottled glaze body, inside the base a gold tracery image of a dragon encircling three fruits. The Fairyland Lustre series was designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones. Circa 1925. Marked with a Wedgwood Vase Logo, the Words "Wedgwood" "Made in England" and Z4831 on the base. The underside of the lid is also marked with a Wedgwood Vase Logo, the Words "Wedgwood" "Made in England". Measures 6 x 6.5 inches.
