AMERICAN COIN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF 25, including a pair of forward-tipped fiddle back serving spoons marked for Hotchkiss & Schreuder, Syracuse, NY (1857-1895), a set of five backward-tipped fiddle back tea spoons marked for Phinney & Mead, Montpelier, VT (1849-1857), and a set of five backward-tipped fiddle back tea spoons marked for E.J. Austin, Vergennes, VT (18251843); most with monograms. Total silver weight: 15.22 ozt. 19th century. 5 1/2" to 8 5/8" L.
Excellent condition overall, some with minor denting/compression to bowls, some with minor bending to handles.
