NEW YORK COIN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF 36, comprising four serving spoons and 32 tea spoons, mainly forward-tipped fiddle back examples, including a set of six tea spoons marked for William Wallace Willard, Syracuse, NY (1833-1869), a set of six tea spoons marked for George H. Smith, Watertown, NY (active c. 1850), a serving spoon marked for Francis A. Bunnell, Syracuse, NY (1866-1874), marked "900", and one backward-tipped fiddle back tea spoon marked "L. ALLEN" with spread-wing eagle touchmark, possibly L.C. Allen, Utica, NY, or Luther Allen, Rochester, NY; most with monograms. Total silver weight: 23.305 ozt. 19th century. 5 1/2" to 9 1/4" L.
Excellent condition overall, some with very minor denting to bowls, some with minor bending to handles.
