Description
OP-17 OVAL PEDESTAL PRESSED OPEN SALT, lightly mottled opaque medium blue showing some opalescence, complex scrolled rim, raised on four splayed feet. Extremely rare. Possibly Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1830-1845. 1 7/8" H, 2 5/8" x 3 1/2".
Near proof, shallow chip to inner rim that only slightly affects the profile, chip to tip of one foot and flake to another, some mold roughness.
