A RARE CHINESE BRASS-MOUNTED HUANGHUALI DOUBLE FOLDING CHAIR, XUANGJIAOYI
A Chinese HuangHuaLi wood folding chairs with woven seats over X-shaped leg bases terminating in rectangular stretchers, with raised footrests. Each beautifully proportioned with narrow crest rail supported on slender, gracefully tapered and curved rear posts. Having the S-shaped splat, carved with a rococo floral medallion, the upper third of the splat flanked by narrow shaped flanges. The HuangHuaLi wood displays yellowish-golden-honey patina, with translucent shimmering surface with abstractly figured patterns appearing like wheat pattern motif.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents. Normal consider ages and wears.
