DESCRIPTION: A 19th century, Charles Reily & George Storer, sterling inkwell stand. Features intricately designed, rococo scrolled acanthus leaves along the footed base, embellished with c scroll reticulations. The leaves are further garnished with latticed, textured, finishes. Atop the footed base is a scalloped channel enveloping the center inkwell platforms. Platform is fitted with a center box with four scrolled rococo motif feet, topped by a lid fitted with a center candlestick, flanked by two ridged, crystal inkwells with sterling lids. Marked with London sterling hallmarks along with "CR" over "GS quatrefoil maker's mark on the bottom of the stand as well as on the lids of the inkwells.
