Condition
Second edition of the famous explanation of Leonhard Fuchs about the important sixth book of the Epidemics of Hippocrates. The work, which contains numerous passages in Greek in the text, explained and interpreted by Fuchs, also includes the epistle dedicatory of Philip Melanchthon at the same Fuchs and the Greek original text by Hippocrates in the last unnumbered leaves. Garrison-Morton: “Hippocrates introduced the inductive method of studying epidemies.” The great German botanist was among the restorers of Greek’s medicine and the Hippocratic especially.
