French Henri II Style Carved Oak Bed, 19th c., the headboard with an arched spindled wheel crest over three incised panels within lappet carved supports, joined by scrolled incised rails, to a footboard with a central spindled wheel flanked by figural carved panels, on bun feet, matching following lots, H.- 60 in., Int. W.- 53 1/4 in., D.- 74 in.

Condition consistent with age. Finials lacking from headboard. Approximate 4 inch vertical crack in back of headboard. Moderate wear and dents on top of rail and footboard. 3 inch area of heavy damage from wood beetle exposure on right edge of footboard. Another 1 inch area of damage on the foot below.
