French Henri II Style Carved Oak Triple Door Armoire, 19th c., the arched spindled figural crown on a break front top, over a beveled mirror door, with a steel escutcheon and fiche hinges flanked by two highly carved fielded panel doors and incised sides, above three drawers, on cabriole legs with scrolled toes, H.- 103 1/2 in., W.- 67 1/2 in., D.- 22 1/8 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. Approximate ¼ inch gap between two pieces of crest. Light rust throughout hinges and escutcheons. Approximate 4 inch crack, two 1 inch gouges and a pea-size dent in center of top. Scattered flea-size dents throughout. Approximate 4 inch cluster of age spots in upper right side of mirror. A nice example.
