A cartonnage panel depicting Anubis standing with jackal head and human body, wearing a tripartite wig, decorated apron to the chest and loin cloth falling to the knees; mounted on a custom-made stand. 87 grams total, 10.5cm including stand (4 1/4"). From the collection of a Surrey gentleman, formed in the 1970s.
