Description

Two ranking badges from the 19th century. One badge is embroidered with a crane facing left towards a sun amongst the clouds and has a Greek Key border. The other badge has a silver pheasant facing right towards a beaded sun. Auspicious symbols are embroidered throughout the clouds. The badge has a border with Shou symbols and bats. Dimensions are 10 3/4" wide X 10 1/4" high for the first badge and 12 1/8" wide X 10 7/8" high for the second. All measurements are approximate.

Condition

Age wear, but in good overall condition.
