Description
Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A delicate free-blown pale-turquoise-colored glass vessel that features a slightly concave bottom with a smooth pontil, rounded base area, rolled corseted shoulders which taper to a wide neck, an everted rim, rolled lip, gaping mouth opening, and a single applied undulating trail handle. Faint rainbow iridescence complements the wispy color of the glass itself. Size: 4.25" W x 4.125" H (10.8 cm x 10.5 cm).
