PRESSED WORCESTER FOOTED SUGAR BOWL AND COVER, deep brown amber, non-lead, octagonal bowl with an eight-petal rim, raised on an octagonal stem and circular foot with a polished pontil mark, factory polished mold line on foot edge, domed two-step cover with an octagonal acorn-form finial. Probably Pittsburgh area. 1850-1875. 9" HOA, 5 1/4" D rim, 3 3/4" D foot.
Bowl with only a minute flake to one rim petal and minor mold roughness at foot mold line, cover with minor to moderate chipping and roughness to rim.
