DESCRIPTION: An antique Burmese lacquer betel nut box. Comprises of a rotund form embellished with a vibrant orange base hue garnished with intricately detailed swirled accents, Opens to reveal 2 scalloped bowl inserts covering the main hollow.
CIRCA: 19th-Early 20th Ct.
ORIGIN: Burma
DIMENSIONS: H:7 1/8" Diameter:8.25"
CONDITION: Fair age appropriate condition, some chips, and tears along lacquer exposing the papier mache foundation. See lot description for details on item condition.
