Description
Set of Gorham Sterling Silverware in the Spotswood pattern; 1912. Pieces include 12 knives, 11 salad forks, 12 pastry forks, 4 dinner forks, 6 cocktail forks, 4 fish forks, an olive spoon and fork, 12 dinner spoons, a gravy ladel, 12 large soup spoons, 6 sugar spoons, 4 small soup spoons, 8 butter spreaders a 4 3/4" slotted spoon and a large serving fork. This silverware is marked with the traditional Gorham hallmarks from 1848-1860. In addition to this set there are also 3 large serving spoons, 3 medium serving spoons and 4 9 1/2" knives. These have the traditional Gorham hallmarks with an additional T meaning they were made at a later date. All of these pieces have an M monogram and without the knives the weight is 97.5 ozt. The silverware is in good condition with little wear and comes in a Naken tarnishproof cloth lined box. The box measures 16" x 11 1/2" x 4 1/4". The box ia also in good condition with little wear.
