AN EMBELLISHED WHITE JADE ‘PEACH PICKING’ SNUFF BOTTLE, QING DYNASTY
White nephrite jade of even color with fine and smooth hand polish. China, The bottle: 1750-1850. The embellishment: TSUDA FAMILY,
KYOTO, JAPAN, 1890-1941

Decorated in relief with lacquer, variegated soapstone and mother-of-pearl to depict a continuous scene of a lady standing near a table awaiting an attendant bringing peaches on a tray, verso a boy in a court robe picking peaches from a tree, the details of the scene picked out in gilt and various polychrome pigments.

Shape: Ovoid slightly bulbous form
Hollowing: Excellent
Mouth, neck and lip: Short cylindric neck with slanted lip and flat top, very small mouth, the inner cylinder symmetric to neck
Base: Flat oval shape
Stopper: Malachite
Height of the bottle with stopper: 6 cm
Width of the mouth: 4 mm
Width of the neck: 16 mm
Condition: Excellent, no chips, wear or other damages to embellishments whatsoever. The jade with small natural fissure inclusions near the base

雕漆、滑石與珍珠母配件, 成連綿人物紋, 正面有美女站在小桌旁邊,僕子帶一盤桃子. 背面有小童摘桃圖.用金與彩色顏料強調細節.

瓶口、頸、瓶唇： 短圓柱形頸, 斜唇部, 平頭, 細小口, 內部圓柱跟頸相稱

底足：平橢圓形

蓋: 孔雀石

高（帶蓋）：6厘米

口徑：0.4厘米

頸部直徑：1.6厘米

狀態敘述：完整, 足部帶帶天然夾雜裂隙紋路.
