[ETHIOPIAN COPTIC PRAYER SCROLL] ETHIOPIAN COPTIC PRAYER SCROLL vellum, handwritten in Ge’ez with three areas of geometric drawings, 68” long x 4” wide, three sections attached by leather strips, estimated mid-latter 19th century from wear to the vellum turning it dark, such prayer strips are believed to have magical healing powers and are often made in the height of the individual they are for; CONDITION: well-preserved with normal darkening to vellum from age.
