Large Qajar Persian pottery Polychrome Faience tile.
Iran, Qajar era.
Early 19th century.
Eight pointed star enclosing a Royal court figure holding a sword.
Raised boarders of scroll work and flowers.
Dimension: 10.6" x 10.75".
Glazed painted earthenware tile possibly from an architectural frieze / mural.
Condition: tile complete, image strong, tile has appropriate wear for age, old repair noted but tile is complete (view photographs for accuracy).
