Pair of large Persian Qajar faience glazed tiles.
Iran, Qajar era, early19th century.
Eight pointed star enclosing palace landscaped with raised boarders of scroll work and flowers.
Dimension: 10.75"x10.6".
Glazed painted earthenware tile possibly from an architectural frieze / mural.
Condition: tile complete, image & color strong, tile has appropriate wear for age, old repair noted but tile is complete (view photographs).
