Description
STAMPED "ISAAC GOOD" EARTHENWARE / REDWARE CROCK, lead- and manganese-glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity, wide-mouth form with three incised rings below the squared rim. Only top edge of stamp visible. Isaac Good (1851-1907) working at the old John Zigler pottery site in Timberville. 1872-1875. 7" H, 6 3/8" D rim.
Very good condition, faint light 2 1/2" hairline off rim, chip to inner rim, several flakes to top or outer edge of rim.

Provenance: From the estate of James R. and Frances Holsinger, Luray, VA.
