Pair of Chinese porcelain plant pots, are thick potted in a rectangular shapes, wider to the rim, with beveled corners, raised on four shaped low legs. The exterior hand painted in famille rose design depicted descending carmine-red and ascending pale-blue dragons chasing the centralized flaming pearl amidst fumes and flames; all sets within a shaped gilt cartouche, interspersed with red Fu bats and tri-color ruyi clouds. Banded with yellow ruyi ribbon under the rim. Adorned with gilt overglazed accents. Two holes pierced on the base. The shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese GuanYao porcelain Imperial wares , with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the painting, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.

Mark on the base. Both porcelain plant pots are displayed upon hardwood tall stands, raised on four cabriole legs, joined with hoofed strechers.

Mark on base, six red script -KaiShu- characters, GuangXu reign Period of Great Qing, and of the period (1875-1908)
