Chinese porcelain basin is sturdily potted in a deep vessel with hexagonal flori-form lobed petal rim, raised from steep sides over wide broad cavetto. The central interior decorated by applying a variety of five-colored pigments creates bold opaque hand-painting, of blue and red dragons striding opositely in pursuit of centralized wish-granted flaming pearls amidst colorful flames and fumes. The well and rim with comforming design, behind bold blue lines on outer rim. The exterior with colorful floral motifs. The uderbase remain unglazed, revealled the creme-orange ground and cutted edges.

Mark on receded underglazed central base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double fine rings, WanLi Reign Period of Great Ming (1611-1722)
