1765 London Chronicle Article from New Orleans
The October 1-3, 1765 issue of "The London Chronicle", eight pages complete. Two items of Colonial interest, one datelined New-Orleans of a Captain Ross traveling from Illinois and being "badly treated: both whipt and stript..", by Indians. Also from Philadelphia of an account of an Indian attack near Wiochtonan. Much else including news and notices. Very Good, bottom margin cropped with some loss of one line of text. Measures 8.5 x 11".
