[OUR MAN IN HAVANA]: COWARD NOEL: (1899-1973) English Playwright, Actor and Composer, Academy Award winner. A good vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Coward in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Hawthorne, of the British Secret Intelligence Service, from the film Our Man in Havana (1959). The original Columbia Pictures publicity portrait is signed by Coward in bold blue fountain pen ink to a clear area of the background. One very small, light scuff to the left edge of the image and some extremely light overall age wear, VG Our Man in Havana is a British spy comedy film which was adapted from Graham Greene's 1958 novel of the same name. The film also starred Alec Guinness and was directed by Carol Reed, both of whom collaborated with Greene on other cinematic projects.
