Roman, later Imperial Period, ca. 4th to 5th century CE. A greyware ceramic oil lamp with a pointed, arrow-like spout, a ring handle, and a sunken, undecorated discus. Around the upper edge is a repeated low relief pattern of stylized leaves. Size: 5.45" L x 3" W (13.8 cm x 7.6 cm); 2" H (5.1 cm) on included custom stand.
Provenance: private New Jersey, USA collection, acquired over twenty years ago
