U.S. MODEL 1905 SPRINGFIELD BAYONET WITH SCABBARD, wooden grip, "bird's head" pommel, ordinance mark and date "1920" to one ricasso, "U.S." above serial number to opposite ricasso, leather-covered scabbard with Krag-style swivel hanger, leather impressed in part "1909 / T.C.C." First quarter 20th century. 16" blade, 20 5/8" OA; scabbard 22 3/8" OA.
(UPDATED 8/21/17) Very good condition overall, some nicks to blade edge, scabbard with expected moderate wear, separating at seam due to loss of stitching.
