2222: Revolutionary War Portable Iron Brazier
Rare Revolutionary War Portable Iron Brazier or Stovec. 1775 Revolutionary War Era, Soldier's Hand-wrought Portable Iron Brazier (Stove), Choice Fine.
This is an exceedingly rare, original Revolutionary War era soldier's portable, small size Hand-wrought Iron Stove. It measures about 15" long (with handle) x 7" tall x 8" wide. This Brazier would be great for any museum or collector and it is extremely rare to locate, specially in such fine original condition. The natural patina of the metal is uniform and not disturbed. It has its original handle and feet, being fully intact and complete. One example similar to this is photographed in, "The Collector's Illustrated Encyclopedia Of The American Revolution," by George C. Neumann and Frank J. Kravic, as shown on page 95. This is an exceedingly rare, fully authentic and actually used period item, that is in "Museum" display quality and the first we have offered.
