Description
Four character calligraphy for longevity by Pu Jie (1907-1994). It is signed by Pu Jie and has a seal. Calligraphy is on rice paper and there is a note indicating the English translation of the characters to "may you live forever" and alsostating that the calligraphy is valuable. A newspaper clipping from the New York Times about Pu Jie and his family and a photo are also on the back of the frame.
Dimensions are 26 inches long X13 1/2 inches wide. With the frame dimensions are 26 3/4 inches long X 14 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The paper appears to have some wrinkling from being folded and may benefit from reframing.
