Silk with multi-colored silk & gold brocade threads, silk and fabric strings and tassels, red colored stone beads, paper. China, 19th century Qing Dynasty

This lot comprises three ornate scent pouches made of silk. The dark blue and the medium blue pouch both are executed in Kesi technique whilst the half blue, half crème colored pouch is embroidered. The motives include scholar items, gourds and court scenes.

Dimensions: Largest in group: 14 x 7 cm; smallest in group: 9 x 8 cm
Condition: Some wear and tear to paper parts, embroidered pouch shows several loose threads. Otherwise fine condition
