Titled (Latin): Johannis Freind M.D., Serenissimae Regine Carolinae Archiatri, Opera Omnia Medica. “Main Title Page - Rough Translation: Complete Medical Works of Johannis (John) Friend M.D., Personal Physician To The Most Serene Queen Caroline (of Ansbach). The typist is noted as Johannis (John) Wright, London. Published (expense) by William Innys, Richard Manby and others, Fleet Street, London in 1733”. The page to the left of the main title page is a copyright page from George II, King of Great Britain, Franc and Ireland which grants sole rights of the publication to the creditors for 14 years beginning on Dec. 29, 1732 (6th Year of Reign, and only 5 years before Caroline’s Death). Text-block pages 209-318 are not unbound, covers and binding appears to have once been redone, book appears complete. 16.5 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 2.75 in. deep. Weight: 11 lbs.
